- Description
- Kakkonto is a herbal remedy formula found in the classic Chinese texts "Shanghan Lun" and "Jinqiyoryao." It is effective for colds and stiff shoulders. It is particularly effective for the initial stages of a cold, when you have a fever, feel chills, and have persistent shivers.
- Storage & Handling
- (1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the zipper tightly closed. (2) Keep out of reach of children. (3) Do not transfer to another container. - Ingredients
- The daily adult dose is 9 tablets (412 mg per tablet): Kakkonto extract (1/2 dose) ... 2,600 mg (extracted from 4.0 g of kudzu root, 2.0 g each of ephedra and jujube, 1.5 g each of cinnamon and peony root, 1.0 g of licorice, and 0.5 g of ginger). Additives include hydroxypropylcellulose, talc, silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol/acrylic acid/methyl methacrylate copolymer, titanium dioxide, and carnauba wax.
- Benefits
