Skin bactericidal, antiperspirant, and astringent effects
Also used as a food additive in boiled dishes and pickles.
For early pickling of eggplants, bran miso pickles, and boiled dishes such as burdock and millet.
[Example of use]
《Early pickled eggplant》 (Improved color and crispness)
About 1 kg of small eggplant, 1 and 1/3 cups of water, 1/3 cup of salt, roasted alum, 1 small spoonful
Boil the above ingredients (water, salt, roasted alum), dissolve well, and then cool.
Put the eggplants in a tub, add the samanashi soup, cover with a wet lid, put a weight on it, seal it with polyethylene, etc., and leave it in a cool place all day and night, and it will pickle in a beautiful color.
《Eggplant pickled in bran miso》
Mix 2 tablespoons of salt with 1 tablespoon of this product, sprinkle it all over the eggplant with the stem still attached, rub it lightly, let it sit for 4-5 minutes, and then soak it in the rice bran bed for a beautiful color.
《Simmered burdock, millet, etc.》 (Removes bitterness and prevents boiling)
After peeling, add 1 tablespoon of this product to 2 liters of water and leave for 2 to 3 hours. Once the scum has disappeared, remove, wash with water, and boil. - Cautions
