Our Shipping And Delivery Policy
While ordering on Goodsania, you will notice the possibility to choose from several shipping methods.
For most countries and regions, we offer free delivery service for order purchase amount of JPY 12,000* or more in equivalent foreign currency.
This designated amount may vary by region.
If the order amount is JPY 12,000* or less, we will ship accordingly to the shipping fee arranged.
Note : This threshold may vary depending on shipping destination. A few countries are not eligible for this option. The system will automatically show the shipping fee or free shipping if the order is eligible. Please contact us for further details. Shipping fee is subject to change from time to time as determined by logistics provider cost indications.
All orders made at our shop are carefully prepared and shipped within 4-7 working days (except Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese holidays) after the order confirmation. In general, orders placed by Tuesdays 10am JST will be shipped on the same week by Friday while orders after this deadline will be shipped the following week. This is subject to stock availability. We will contact customers by email should there be any exception or situations arise.
Pls note that shipping time during Covid-19 period or delivery to certain restricted region is extended. As soon as the parcel is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation mail (which contains important information such as tracking number). It is the customer's responsibility to keep track of your package while in shipment and notify us at the earliest (within 30 days of shipment) if there is any exception or delay to your order shipping. Non-refundable shipping fee charges will be incurred to the buyer if the package is returned to Japan.
Please be aware that delays in shipping and customs may occur. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for this type of delay. The customers are responsible to keep track of their package progress after shipment. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the situation of packages outside of Japan such as delivered packages that are stolen, or packages retained by the destination customs office etc.

Please note that for regions where air shipment is restricted, we can only ship by sea shipment and shipping time may be between 60-90 business days.
For orders placed to ship to countries that only accept sea shipment due to border control restrictions, we will send an email to you to confirm on the acceptance of shipping arrangement. If you do not accept the sea shipping arrangement, we can offer you a cancellation and refund. However, if there is no response received from you after 2 days (JST), it will be deemed that you have accepted the shipping arrangement upon order placement and we will proceed to continue the order and send the order by sea shipment.
Only Air Freight is available to certain regions: Australia, India, Israel, Cambodia, Middle East, South America (this list is not restrictive and may include other regions as information changes).
We regret that Air Freight costs are substantial as logistics to these regions are limited and restricted at this point due to Covid-19 situation. We thank you for your understanding during this difficult pandemic period.

Regular air shipment to Israel and several other regions including South Africa, Colombia, Egypt, Hungary, Pakistan etc are now available. However, delays are still expected due to Covid-19 situations globally. More details are available on the link above by Japan Post.

Please note that some countries such as Israel, Italy etc have imposed shipping restrictions again due to Covid-19 situations in local areas, so only high cost air freight or no shipping is available. The actual fee will be reflected at check-out.

Shipping fee by airfreight to Brazil, Jamaica, Russia, Myanmar, etc adjusted up due to increase in freight costs to South America and these regions. We regret that we can no longer absorb the logistics costs increase in these areas.
Air shipping to certain regions around the world such as New Zealand or certain less accessible regions of certain countries may take a longer time due to fewer cargo flights to these regions. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

We regret that standard air shipping (free shipping or discount shipping price) is no longer available to the following countries due to the current situation in Europe:
Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, Croatia, Netherlands, Austria, Estonia
Only paid air freight at higher costs is able to access these areas from 4 March 2022. We regret this situation and look towards your understanding.

We regret that only paid air freight by UPS or Fedex similar service is available to the following European countries from today: United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, France, Belgium, Isle of Man and Monaco.
We also regret that shipping time taken to European destinations will take longer than usual from now on due to Ukraine situation. We look forward to your patience and understanding.

Free Shipping for Australia, UK, Italy, Israel, Netherlands, Greece, Saudi Arabia, and Bangladesh by standard airmail by Japan Post is now available.
Free shipping will be available to these countries with standard air shipping with minimum purchase amount of JPY12,000 or above orders.
Certain other countries have also added restrictions or reduced flight services. We regret that we may not be able to update in time due to the volatile situation.
As normal air shipping is not available anymore, we regret that these regions can only be accessed by higher cost air freight. The system will automatically show the shipping fee, if any. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Japanese Post (Economy, Standard, Express or Airmail)
Parcels are collected by the Japanese Postal Service in our Kagawa store and delivered by your county's national Post service.
Japan Post offers 4 different services:
Economy air shipping (SAL) :
A cheap service with a wide national Post network.
Packages sent with this service have no tracking number, no insurance and no set delivery time.
Delivery usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks to Europe or North America. It can be longer depending on the period (the holiday season or Covid-19 situation for instance).
For some areas, delivery can take more than a month.
Standard shipping :
With this service, delivery also usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks to Europe and North America, but parcels have a tracking number.
This shipment type is insured up to JPY6,000.
Express Mail Shipping (EMS) :
Deliveries with this service are fast and usually delivered within 5 to 7 business days to Europe and North America.
EMS is insured in case of loss or damage up to JPY20,000.
For areas which are not covered by the SAL or EMS tariffs, parcels can be shipped with the Airmail service (ex: Caribbean Islands, etc..).
Once your parcel has been dispatched and depending on the shipping method, you will receive a tracking number (included in the shipping confirmation email).

For economic and standard shipments, it is possible that a package can take up to 40 days for delivery, so we can only be of help after this period of time. If you are concerned and it has not yet reached the 40 day mark, first, go to your post office and ask if a parcel is waiting for you there, or contact your local customs office.
Then, if you still have not receive it, please contact us after the 40 days.
For EMS shipments, please use the related online tracking service and contact the carrier.
Pls understand that we can try to assist on packages that have arrived at destination but we are unable to directly contact or control packages outside of Japan.
Pls contact us the latest within 45 days after your order is placed if you have not yet received your package. We regret that packages will not be able to traced if too long time has lapsed. Pls note that the onus is on the buyer to trace and track the package after shipment to ensure that the package is delivered or collected on time as we cannot be responsible for packages outside of Japan.
Note: Shipping delays may be expected due to Covid-19 pandemic, weather or international situations. However, most packages by air shipment should arrive in destination, clear customs, and be delivered within 60 days.
For packages by sea shipment, final delivery is estimated within 60-90 days.
If you have a product that was damaged during delivery, please e-mail us (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 3 days after receiving it and include full pictures of your damaged item with order number. You may also contact us via Facebook messenger or Instagram at Goodsania Global.
If you believe there has been a mistake with your order, we will do all we can to remedy the problem.
Contact us by email or instant messengers Facebook / Instagram and we will take care of it.
In the case of a parcel being returned to us:
If your parcel has been sent back to us by the postal or courier service (for example, due to an unknown/mistaken address or unclaimed parcel). We will message you to plan a new shipping.
If this happens, shipping costs will be based on the carriers' prices, not the regular prices on the Goodsania shop. All costs of re-shipping is to be borne by the purchaser if there is no service lapse by Goodsania (for example, unclaimed parcel at destination or incorrect address provided on order by purchaser etc).
If you request refund for a returned parcel, the refund amount will be less shipping costs and any product damages.
Taxes & Custom Fees
Shipping of a product from Japan may be subject to taxes and to custom fees in the country of delivery.
These supplementary costs are the customer's responsibility.
These costs include the sales tax in the country of delivery (applied to the total cost of the order), duties on the cost of products (around 6% for the European Union) and fees to carrier (from $10 to $20). These fees and charges are subject to change by the relevant authorities as they deem fit.
In comparison with EMS, which generally charge you right at the delivery.
We have to display the full value of your purchase on the customs label with no exceptions. Please understand there are regulations to adhere to.
We understand that custom fees are worrying for some of you.
We hope that you are reassured by the fact that, while buying on Goodsania, you can get real Japanese original goods that you will not be able to find anywhere else, at a good value.
The following list describes EU rules for custom fees:
- For parcel which products total value does not exceed 22 euros, products are not subject to tax nor import duty.
- When this total value ranges from 22 to 150 euros, the consignee is responsible for the sales tax only.
Beware, they apply on product and transportation total value.
- If order total value exceeds 150 euros, sales tax and import duty has both to be paid.
*note that taxes, duties and customs are subject to change by local regulations and the latest version prevails.
Pls note that the destination customs has the right based on your local laws and regulations to open, inspect or even retain your package as they deem fit. We are not responsible for any damages, retention, or loss of package by the destination local customs. Pls kindly contact your local customs office for more information pertaining to your package in event such incident occurs.
