- Product Introduction
- This hand towel is a traditional Japanese craft that gets softer the more you use it and wash it.
When going out, it can be used as a handkerchief or to wipe sweat, and after use, it is thin so it can be folded into a small size so that it does not become part of your luggage.
You can also use it as a patch for ironing, as a scarf on cold days, or as an instant hair tie for your baby.
We also recommend using a tenugui instead of cloth to make masks, children's pants, etc., or making an original eco bag by combining the two.
You can display it as a tapestry in your room or office, or wrap it around the handle of a basket bag or tote bag to give your belongings a different atmosphere!
Even if you get injured during leisure activities or mountain climbing, you can use a tenugui to perform first aid such as stopping bleeding.
It is highly absorbent and can be reused if washed, so it can also be used while cooking as it can wipe away moisture from foods with a high moisture content.
Tenugui are durable, water-absorbent, and quick-drying, so they can be used in a variety of situations both inside and outside the home.
Recommended as a souvenir or present for your friends.
《About Chusen》
This item is dyed by a craftsman using a technique called Chusen.
The more you use it, the softer the fabric will become, and the more its unique color fading and texture will increase.
[Care]
Due to the nature of dyeing, the color may fade or transfer, so we recommend washing it alone with plenty of water when you first use it.
The edges are left uncut, so please trim any fraying that appears when you first use it. It will naturally settle down after 2 to 3 washes.
